Roberto De Zerbi's position on potentially taking over as Tottenham's next manager has been disclosed.

Roberto De Zerbi is currently being considered as a potential candidate for the vacant Tottenham manager position. However, he is not expected to make a decision on his future until the summer, despite rumors that Spurs are interested in hiring him to replace Igor Tudor. The team is already making plans for their upcoming tough match against Liverpool, which many believe will result in their seventh consecutive defeat.

Tudor's time as interim manager has been a disaster, with their latest defeat against Atletico Madrid being a prime example of the team's struggles. This match saw goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky being substituted after just 17 minutes, adding to the already mounting list of failures under Tudor's leadership. De Zerbi, who recently parted ways with Marseille, has emerged as one of the top choices for Tottenham.

However, according to talkSport, he is not interested in taking over until the end of the season. In the meantime, Tudor has hinted that the team will continue to use a back-three formation for their match against Liverpool, with midfielder Archie Gray potentially playing as a center-back. One of the main criticisms of Tudor's short tenure as manager has been his tendency to play players out of position.

In his preferred formation of 3-4-2-1, he has used midfielder Joao Palhinha and right-back Pedro Porro in unorthodox positions. This has only added to the team's struggles, with Palhinha playing center-back in Tudor's debut match against Arsenal and Porro being used in the same position in their recent defeat against Crystal Palace. Despite some key players being unavailable for the upcoming match, Tudor is expected to stick with his three-man defense.

At a tense press conference on Friday, Tudor was questioned about Gray's role in the team, to which he responded by hinting that the player may be used in yet another position. Gray has already played as a right-wing-back, left-back, and central midfielder under Tudor's leadership. While the manager praised Gray's abilities, he also acknowledged that constantly changing his position can be a problem.

When asked about his future at Tottenham, Tudor chose to focus on the present and the upcoming match against Liverpool. He has faced similar situations in the past and has been able to turn things around, but his methods at Tottenham have not yielded the same results. Some critics believe that his tactics have even caused a decrease in morale within the team.

Tudor emphasized that his criticisms and advice are not meant to attack the players, but to help them improve and in turn, improve the team's performance. He also acknowledged that it can be difficult for players to step out of their comfort zone, but it is necessary for growth and progress. As the team prepares for their crucial match against Liverpool, they will be without the services of Micky van de Ven.

It remains to be seen if Tudor's strategies and changes will be enough to secure a much-needed win for Tottenham.
