At what point does Nintendo's quirkiness become more of a nuisance? Luckily, their amazing games make up for it. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of Star Fox 64, but I will still keep an eye out for the cost of this remake.
It's worth noting that this is one of the rare instances where a Nintendo rumor actually turned out to be true, even if it wasn't executed perfectly. So, does this mean that the long-awaited Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake is also in the works? With the next mainline entry still in development, now would be the perfect time for a remake.
Could we possibly see a reveal in the summer and a release later this year? These are just rumors, but there's a higher chance of them being true now, and that has me very excited. -Billy It's official, Star Fox/Lylat Wars is back!
I remember purchasing Star Fox 64 through an ad in the local paper from a man who looked like he stepped out of the 80s. It cost me a whopping 90 pounds, but I couldn't wait for it to release in Europe. I fell in love with the game and even sent in a detailed map to a magazine before the game was released in the West.
Although they never printed it, I'm sure they used it to beat the game themselves. But, as for this remake, I'm not sure how I feel about it. The more realistic they make it, the emptier and cheaper the world looks.
The characters are also quite unsettling. I'll wait to see the reviews and the price before making a decision, but for now, I'll stick to looking forward to the ultimate remake of Zelda: Ocarina of Time instead. -big boy bent Another day, another Xbox executive flapping their lips.
If talking was the key to success, then Xbox would have dominated the gaming industry years ago. But, despite their constant chatter, I still don't see anything that will change people's minds about them, let alone convince them to buy an Xbox console again. This new Copilot feature seems like a bad move.
Personally, I don't believe a word of it. My guess is that they will eventually use AI, but just not under the name "Copilot." They've already done something similar with Windows. And now, with all these AI experts taking over executive roles, I wouldn't be surprised if they implement their expertise on Xbox as well.
-Anderson I would love to see a new DC fighting game that isn't Injustice 3, but wouldn't it have been best to wait until the cast for the new Batman and Wonder Woman movies were confirmed? Otherwise, how will they portray characters that weren't in the Superman movie? Most of the movie characters did act like their comic book counterparts, but there are countless ways to play Batman alone.
It would be odd to have conflicting versions of the same character in the game and the DC Universe. It's disappointing how there is no synergy between DC games and films, especially since they are all owned by the same company. If they can't even get their own properties to align, it's not surprising that no one else has been able to do it either.

-Don't miss Gaming news! Add us as a Preferred Source I found the feature about the "second death" of the PlayStation 4 very interesting. I didn't realize they stopped producing it so long ago.
It's sad to see the end of what I believe is the best PlayStation console. Some may argue for the PlayStation 2, but there are very few games from that era that I would want to play without a remaster or remake. I agree with those who say Sony should have never released the PlayStation 5.
The graphics on the PlayStation 4 were perfectly fine, and as we can see now, the economics of it worked out much better than with the PlayStation 5. With the PlayStation 4, we had a steady stream of great-looking games, but with the PlayStation 5, we are lucky to get one Sony game a year. -Teemo It's no surprise that many gamers aren't buying full-priced games, considering their high cost.
It's also not surprising that older games are being played less, given that they used to be cheaper and could be traded in without the added cost of DLC. This is mainly the fault of publishers, not because their prices are unreasonable, but because they refuse to address the rising cost of game development. As GC pointed out in their excellent article about the PlayStation 4, Sony has made no effort to adapt to the longer and more expensive development process.
Instead, they simply release fewer games. -Luxury item Have you heard about the recent leak for Star Fox? It's got a lot of people wondering if the rumors about a Zelda remake might also be true.
Our Thursday letters page received some interesting comments about Ubisoft's new Assassin's Creed Invictus, but readers seem to be more focused on the underwhelming graphics of Star Fox. It's no secret that Nintendo is usually pretty good about livestreaming events at reasonable times for those of us in the UK. But the delayed Star Fox stream and the last-minute notification had some fans feeling frustrated. While Nintendo's quirky nature can be charming, there comes a point where it can be a bit too much.
Luckily, they make amazing games that keep us forgiving. I have to admit, I'm not the biggest fan of Star Fox 64, but I'm still curious to see how much they'll charge for the remake. It's also worth noting that this is the first time in a while that a Nintendo rumor has turned out to be true, even if they didn't quite nail the remake aspect.
So, does this mean that the long-awaited Zelda: Ocarina Of Time remake is also in the works? It would make sense, considering the long wait for the next mainline entry in the series. Could we see a reveal this summer and a release later this year?
That's the rumor, and I have a feeling there's a good chance it might be true. As a huge Zelda fan, I can't help but be excited. Moving on to another topic, it's official: Star Fox/Lylat Wars is back!
I have fond memories of buying the Japanese import version from a local ad. The guy who brought it over was a real 80s yuppie, with a perfectly groomed beard, floppy hair, and a long trench coat. It cost me a whopping 90 quid, but I was young and impatient and couldn't wait the six months for the European release.
But man, was it worth it. I played that game non-stop, discovering all the secret routes and shortcuts. I even sent a detailed map to a gaming magazine before they had even reviewed the Western release.
They never printed it, but I bet they used it to beat the game themselves. As for the remake, I have mixed feelings. The more realistic they make it, the emptier and cheaper it seems.
And those character designs are nightmare fuel. I'll still keep an eye on reviews and price, but right now I'm more excited for the ultimate remake of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time. Moving on to Xbox, I can't help but feel like they talk a big game but never quite deliver.
The whole Copilot thing seems like a ploy, and I don't buy it. They'll probably just use AI and call it something else, like they did with Windows. And all these ex-AI people taking over executive roles?
I have a feeling they'll be working on Xbox too. Now, onto a different topic. I would love to see a new DC fighting game that isn't Injustice 3, but wouldn't it make more sense to wait until the new movies are cast?
Otherwise, we'll just have to guess how the characters will act. While most movie characters stayed true to their comic book counterparts, there are so many different versions of Batman alone that it would be strange to see him portrayed differently in the game and in the DC Universe. It's a shame that there isn't more synergy between DC games and films, especially considering they're all owned by the same company.
If they can't even get that right, it's no surprise that others struggle to do so as well. Next, we have an interesting article about the "second death" of the PlayStation 4. It's sad to see the end of what is arguably the best PlayStation console, especially since Sony could have just stuck with the PlayStation 4 and had a successful run. But instead, they released the PlayStation 5, which has been struggling to deliver games at a consistent pace.
And finally, it's not surprising that most gamers don't buy full-price games. With the rising cost of games and DLC, it's becoming more of a luxury to be able to afford them. And it's not just the fault of publishers, as Sony has made no effort to adapt to the changing landscape of game development.
It's no wonder that older games are still popular, as they were cheaper and didn't have as much additional content to purchase.
