When will the next Legend Of Zelda game be revealed?

Many are praising Pokémon Pokopia, but one reader is tired of God Of War, according to the Tuesday letters page.

When will the next Legend Of Zelda game be revealed?

It's been a mystery as to when a new Zelda game will make its appearance. Surprisingly, the Tuesday letters page was filled with positive reviews for Pokémon Pokopia, causing one reader to express their frustration with God Of War. This section, known as Games Inbox, is where our readers share their thoughts and opinions. To join in on the discussions, simply email us at the given address. I can't be the only one who's disappointed that there's still no news of a full Nintendo Direct anytime soon. With the Switch 2 already out, there's hardly anything scheduled for release. While it's nice to hear that Pokémon Pokopia is receiving good reviews, it's coming out next week and that's about it. There's nothing else with a confirmed release date and barely any other games in the works. I won't even try to predict what the next Nintendo Direct may announce, but I really hope it at least gives us a hint about the next Legend Of Zelda game. It's been almost six years since Tears Of The Kingdom and I believe they should have something to show by now, even if it's just a small teaser or artwork. That's usually how they start the hype for their games. I can't believe we've gone this long without any updates on a 3D Mario or a new Zelda game. Especially in a year where there's a Mario film and a Zelda one coming out next year. If there's some secret plan that Nintendo is following, I'd love to hear about it because right now it feels like they're just asleep at the wheel. Molston. I guess it's safe to assume that the next Nintendo Direct will be an Indie World one. As another reader pointed out, it feels like they're trolling the fans with how they're handling things. I doubt they're doing it on purpose, but the fact remains that the trolling is happening, whether intentional or not. Looks like we won't be getting a proper Nintendo Direct until mid-March at the earliest, and it could even be later. This is the latest they've ever done it in an ordinary year and yet the need for it seems greater than ever before. It's interesting to see that Pokémon Pokopia is receiving surprisingly good reviews. However, I'm not sure how much that will satisfy those of us who are eagerly anticipating the next big game. Plus, Pokopia is mostly developed by Omega Force, so I wouldn't really consider it a first-party game. Sonicer. I'm actually quite surprised by the positive reviews for Pokémon Pokopia. Its Metacritic score is now higher than that of Resident Evil Requiem, which I never would have predicted. Sometimes, all you need to do is make a good game and I'm happy to see two good ones coming out so close to each other. I'm not sure if it's my type of game, but the weirdness and the praise are making me tempted to give it a try. It's the kind of game I would usually wait for a few months and buy it when it's on sale, but since it's a Nintendo game, that's probably not going to happen. Maybe I can convince my girlfriend to split the cost with me. Korbie. Just a heads up for those interested in getting Shinobi: Art Of Vengeance on Switch, you can currently purchase it from the Limited Run Games website, while stocks last. The version they have features different cover artwork from the UK version and comes with a region-free cartridge containing the entire game. Be sure to read the terms and conditions before making a purchase. If you buy the UK version on Amazon UK, you'll get a code in the box, whereas Limited Run Games offers an actual cartridge. It's currently priced at $39.99, excluding postage and tax, which is much cheaper than buying it on eBay. I know a fellow GameCentral reader was interested in the Switch version of Shinobi. Andrew J. PS: Will Game Central be doing a review of the Talking Flower from the Nintendo Store when it releases? I'm considering getting it. Unfortunately, we won't be able to review the Talking Flower unless Nintendo sends us one. However, its features seem pretty straightforward, so I doubt that will happen. In the meantime, I'm eagerly waiting for the release. GC. I'm thrilled to see that Pokémon Pokopia is receiving widespread positive reviews. I've played all the recent Pokémon games, hoping to recapture the feeling of wonder and joy that the series held in my childhood with the Silver and Ruby versions. The only game that came close since the DS era was Legends: Arceus, but with the re-release of FireRed and the upcoming Pokopia, I'm hoping to finally relive that feeling. I can't wait to dive into both games in the next few weeks. However, I have my doubts about whether Winds and Waves can bring the main series back to its glory days, but at least Pokopia is keeping the torch burning for them. Pigfish2. Currently playing: Mario Tennis Fever on Switch 2 and Resident Evil Requiem on PlayStation 5. I was not expecting a God Of War spin-off featuring Kratos' wife, and if I'm being honest, I'm having trouble getting excited about it. In Ragnarök, she only appeared for 10 minutes, picking berries, and didn't leave much of an impression on me. But now she's getting her own action-based game? God Of War may not have been non-stop action, but it was still an action game, so I'm not sure I understand the logic behind this. The mention of Devil May Cry was also odd. So, is she going to be doing spins and dances like Bayonetta? That doesn't seem like something she would do, or anyone for that matter, in the God Of War games. I'm also confused about whether giants in God Of War are actually giants. They seemed like they were in the first game, but then there was some retcon that they were actually normal-sized. And to be honest, I don't really understand what a god is supposed to be in this universe. Just someone who's hard to kill, but not impossible? It's not like Kratos has any powers or is omnipotent or anything. I think it's time to accept that the God Of War story has come to an end. There was no need for a prequel, and there's no point in revisiting the Greek games. It also seems like there's no clear direction for the future. After the success of the last game, they could have done anything, but instead, they've chosen this weird spin-off that doesn't seem to push the story forward. Hoofton. I've been trying to understand why Call Of Duty players are more likely to cheat than others. You'd think it's because they're all kids, but Fortnite is actually quite low on that list. My theory is that there are more adults playing Call Of Duty, and they can't stand losing to kids, so they resort to cheating to prove their superiority. It's uncertain when we will see the release of a new Zelda game. The readers' letters page on Tuesday expressed surprise at the positive reviews for Pokémon Pokopia, while one reader expressed their frustration with God Of War. It seems like I'm not the only one who's disappointed by the lack of a full Nintendo Direct in the near future. The Switch 2 has a sparse schedule and while it's great to hear that Pokémon Pokopia is receiving good reviews, it's releasing next week and there's not much else to look forward to in terms of confirmed release dates. It's a bit disheartening. I'm not going to try and predict what the next Nintendo Direct will announce, but I really hope it includes at least a hint about the next Legend Of Zelda game. I have a feeling that Nintendo will do an Indie World presentation next, but as another reader pointed out, their handling of these announcements almost feels like they're trolling fans. I don't think they're doing it on purpose, but it's happening nonetheless. If we're lucky, we might get a proper Nintendo Direct in mid-March, but it could be even later. It's unusual for Nintendo to hold off this long, and it feels like there's a growing need for it. It's always great to see a good game getting recognition, and it's nice to have two solid releases so close to each other. I'm not sure if it's my kind of game, but the positive reviews and the unusual concept are tempting me to give it a try. The only game that has come close to recreating that feeling for me was Legends: Arceus, but with FireRed being re-released and Pokopia coming out soon, maybe I'll finally get that nostalgic feeling back.
