In the next Smash Bros, which characters can we expect to see added to the game?

Hey there fellow gamers! Have you been keeping up with all the latest news and rumors in the gaming world? I've been browsing through the Tuesday letters page and came across some interesting ideas for supervillains in the next Spider-Man game.

It got me thinking about what the next installment in the Assassin's Creed franchise, Hexe, has in store for us. I sure hope they keep the supernatural elements! Speaking of letters, have you checked out Games Inbox?

It looks like we can expect a new Star Fox announcement this month or next. However, it seems like it will be a low-key one. But fear not, my friends, because the first proper Nintendo Direct of the year is most likely happening in June.

I know, I know, it might seem a bit silly to wait that long, but when has Nintendo ever cared about someone else's opinions or common sense? The big question on everyone's mind is what can we expect from this summer's not-E3 event? Will it be the mega blowout we're all hoping for, or will it be another minimum effort showcase?

Honestly, there's no way of knowing for sure. One of my many burning questions is about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

I mean, come on, that's the most obvious choice for a Switch 2 Edition, right? Yet, we haven't heard anything about it. And with all the hype surrounding the game, I'm surprised they haven't added a few new characters to sweeten the pot.

But I can't think of any new Nintendo characters that would fit in. It's a bit worrisome, to be honest. Maybe they could add the Ditto from Pokémon Pokopia or Diana from Pragmata?

You'll receive it in your inbox every Saturday morning. Now, onto some interesting suggestions from our readers. It seems like Capcom and Nintendo have a pretty cozy relationship, so why not add Grace or Leon from Resident Evil to the Super Smash Bros.

Ultimate roster? And hey, Bayonetta is already in the game, so why not add them too? After all, Bayonetta is a pretty gory game, so I don't see why they wouldn't add characters from other mature games.

I was surprised to see that Pragmata and Saros are neck and neck in terms of popularity among our readers. I personally loved Returnal, but I can see why some would prefer Pragmata if it had a better story. Speaking of Capcom, they never fail to impress us with their games.

I can't wait to see what they have in store for us with Onimusha. And can we just take a moment to appreciate the potential for a crossover game with all these amazing titles? Moving on to another popular franchise, Assassin's Creed.

I was a bit confused when I read about the witch's cat and the rules in the Assassin's Creed universe. I mean, we're always seeing the world through an eagle or falcon's eyes, so what's the difference? I'm not saying I'm dead set on playing as a cat, but after Valhalla and Shadows, I think the series could use a change of pace.

I'm all for a horror entry, but taking out the supernatural elements might not work as well. Email your comments to the provided email address. We'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions!

Now, onto some speculation and wishes from our readers. I, for one, am looking forward to a new Star Fox game. But what's got me even more excited is the possibility of a low-budget sequel.

Nintendo has released indie-ish games before, but I can't recall them ever doing a super cheap sequel for a big-name franchise. I mean, Star Fox used to be a prominent B-lister, so I have high hopes for its comeback. And who knows, if this turns out to be successful, maybe we'll see revivals of other beloved franchises like F-Zero and Metroid.

Moving on to another popular title, Spider-Man. Seems like Insomniac is gearing up for a new game announcement, possibly after Wolverine is released. The recent reveal of a new Spider-Man game character has got us all excited.

Personally, I hope the next game gets a bit more wacky and takes Spidey out of New York. And can we get some more silly villains like Paste Pot Pete, Big Wheel, and Walrus? It's always entertaining when Spidey has to deal with his lamer enemies.

Looking back at the legacy of Phil Spencer, I can't help but think that having a passion for video games might not be the best quality for someone in charge. I mean, sure, it's great for the people below them, but for the person at the top, not so much. Take the heads of Capcom, Nintendo, Activision, and EA, for example.

Are they massive gamers? Probably not. And honestly, I couldn't tell you who they are, even though I know a lot of their developers by name.

This isn't meant as an attack on Phil, who seems like a decent guy. But sometimes, it's better for the person in charge to make decisions based on facts and stats rather than their own gaming knowledge. I'm not saying the new boss won't make mistakes, but as long as they listen to the experts and make the right decisions, we should be in good hands.

Well, that's all for now. Keep gaming, my friends! Hey there, fellow gamers!

Have you heard any news about the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate? I was just wondering if Leon and Grace from Resident Evil will be joining the roster.

I mean, Capcom and Nintendo seem to have a good relationship, so why not add them in? Plus, Bayonetta is already in the game and she's from an 18-rated game, so I don't see why not. On a different note, have you guys checked out the latest Tuesday letters page?

Rumor has it that there may be a new Star Fox announcement this month or the next. But from what I've heard, it won't be a big reveal. It seems like we'll have to wait for the first proper Nintendo Direct of the year, which is expected in June.

I know it may seem silly, but when did Nintendo ever listen to someone else or common sense, am I right? I'm curious, though. Will the summer not-E3 presentation be a mega blowout that we've all been hoping for?

Or will it be another minimum effort showcase, with only a few games being shown? Honestly, I have so many questions, especially about Super Smash Bros. Is it just me or does it seem like the perfect opportunity for a Switch 2 Edition?

I mean, we haven't heard anything about it yet. And let's not forget about the possibility of new characters being added to the game. But who could they be?

I can't think of any new Nintendo characters that could be added. It's a bit worrying, to be honest. Maybe they could add the Ditto from Pokémon Pokopia or Diana from Pragmata?

What do you guys think? Oh, and before I forget, have you signed up for the GameCentral newsletter? It offers expert, exclusive gaming analysis every Saturday morning.

You don't want to miss out on that, do you? Moving on to other topics, I've been seeing a lot of love for Returnal from GC, and I can't help but wonder how it's such a close run thing between Pragmata and Saros. Personally, I think if Pragmata had a better story, it would have surpassed Returnal.

But let's give credit where credit is due, Capcom has once again knocked it out of the park. I really hope that Onimusha will be a hit, and I can't wait to see what other surprises they have in store for us this year. As for what could break that combo, I have no idea.

But if I had to guess, it would probably have something to do with Monster Hunter. Speaking of Capcom, why not add Grace or Leon from Resident Evil into Super Smash Bros.? I mean, Bayonetta is already in the game, and it's an 18-rated game, so I don't see why not.

Oh, and before I forget, doesn't it seem like Insomniac Games is building up to a new game announcement? I have a feeling it might be revealed soon after Wolverine is released, maybe at The Game Awards in December. I'm really hoping for a more lighthearted and wacky Spider-Man 3, with some silly villains like Paste Pot Pete, Big Wheel, and Walrus.

It's always fun when Spidey has to deal with the less intimidating bad guys. Switching gears, have you guys been keeping up with the Assassin's Creed franchise? It seems like the next game might not have any supernatural elements, and I'm a bit disappointed.

I mean, sure, I wasn't set on being a cat or anything, but after playing Valhalla and Shadows, I think the series needs a change of pace. It can't just be another big open-world game, especially with the Black Flag remake coming out this year. Before I wrap up, I just wanted to mention how excited I am for the potential of a low-budget Star Fox sequel.

I mean, besides the fact that I'm just generally looking forward to a new Star Fox game, I'm also intrigued by the idea of Nintendo releasing a low-budget sequel for a big-name franchise. Who knows, maybe if it does well, we might see other lapsed franchises like F-Zero and Metroid getting some love too. Now, I know this may be a controversial opinion, but looking back at the legacy of Phil Spencer, I can't help but think that having a passion for video games may not be the best quality for someone in charge.

I mean, the head of Capcom, Nintendo, Activision, or EA isn't necessarily a huge gamer, right? And let's be real, most of us probably don't even know who they are. So maybe it's not such a bad thing that the new boss may not be a hardcore gamer.

As long as she makes the right decisions based on facts and stats, that's all that matters. I mean, the alternative would be someone who makes decisions based on their own personal preferences and limited gaming knowledge, which could potentially lead to some disastrous outcomes. Well, that's all from me for now.
