Terese and Toadie were in for a shock when they took drastic action to secure their future together. In the latest episode of Neighbours, available on Amazon Freevee, their doubts and confusion about their relationship were brought into sharp focus.
It all began with Melanie Pearson's return to Erinsborough and the revelation that she was involved in a cover-up of a death. That death was none other than Krista Sinclair, half-sister of Reece, who had been searching for her sibling since the beginning of the revival series.
Krista and boyfriend Eden Shaw were trying to extort money from Mel, which caused a commotion. In the scuffle that followed, Krista hit her head and Mel ran away to protect Toadie and the kids. Paul Robinson then stepped in to help Mel cover up the crime.

Terese considered a future with Paul, while Toadie was angry with Mel for breaking the law and their trust. To protect their relationship, Toadie asked Paul to stay away from Terese, while Terese visited Mel in prison and asked her to resist any attempts that Nell might make to contact her.
Paul and Melanie agreed to do what was asked of them, meaning that things were looking bleak for any future reunions. Only time will tell if Toadie and Terese will stay together, or if their hearts will start to long for their former partners.
