Nabarangpur forester suspended for cutting trees illegally.

The Nabarangpur Divisional Forest Officer recently took action against one of their foresters, Bipin Kumar Harijan, who was working in the Maidalpur Section under Dabugaon Range. There were allegations of unauthorized tree cutting and financial irregularities made against him, resulting in his suspension. This decision was made after Harijan's response to a show-cause notice from the forest department was deemed unsatisfactory.

It was reported that these allegations were from the time when he was working in the Jharigaon Mohara Section. The allegations were specific to the Deobandh-Jamadarpada road, where it was alleged that Harijan had cut trees without proper permission during his time working in that section. As a result, the department launched an investigation into the matter and issued a show-cause notice to Harijan, asking for an explanation.

However, the response provided by Harijan did not meet the department's standards, and the DFO proceeded to suspend him from his duties.
