Odisha seeks applicants for senior citizens' free pilgrimage program.

The government of Odisha has made an exciting announcement, inviting senior citizens to apply for their free pilgrimage scheme for the years 2026-27. During the unveiling of the guidelines for the 'Baristha Nagarik Tirtha Yatra Yojana', Deputy Chief Minister and Tourism Minister Pravati Parida shared that applications will be accepted from July 15 to August 14.

She also mentioned that interested seniors can either apply online through the state portal or submit their applications using the prescribed forms available under the scheme guidelines.
