Following the Chief Minister's instructions, three senior officers from the Odisha Government have arrived in Tiruvallur to coordinate with the Tamil Nadu authorities and oversee the medical treatment and other arrangements for the injured workers.

According to sources, the leak occurred at a private seafood processing and export facility in Kannigaipair village, where a large number of migrant workers were employed, including women from Assam, Odisha, and Jharkhand.
