In a tragic incident in the district of Rayagada, Odisha, a woman lost her life after allegedly being given the wrong injection at a local medicine store. The incident, which occurred on Thursday at JK Pur, has left the community in shock and mourning. The woman, identified as Baidehi Kumar, was from Getipada village and had visited the store due to a persistent fever and cold.

Despite taking medications, Baidehi's condition did not improve, which led her to seek further treatment at the medicine store. It was there that a staff member, A K Bhadra, administered an injection to her. However, shortly after receiving the injection, Baidehi experienced severe adverse reactions and her health rapidly declined.

Her family rushed her to the nearby hospital, but unfortunately, she passed away on the way. Distraught and seeking answers, Baidehi's family filed a complaint at the Chandili police station, alleging that her death was a result of the injection given by Bhadra. The police took immediate action and detained Bhadra for questioning, launching an investigation into the matter.

Speaking about the case, Uttam Sahu, inspector-in-charge of the Chandili police station, stated that a written complaint had been received from the family, and the man who administered the injection had been detained for further questioning. He also mentioned that the exact cause of death would only be determined after a post-mortem examination and forensic evidence. The police have assured that they are conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances of Baidehi's death and will take appropriate action based on the findings.

The entire community is in mourning for the untimely loss of Baidehi, and the police are working diligently to bring justice to her family.
