Narmadapuram: The Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyaan gathered momentum in the Narmadapuram district on Sunday. The initiative is being conducted as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, and will continue across the state until August 15. It is aimed at spreading awareness among people about hoisting the tricolor on their homes.
The Collector of Narmadapuram, Neeraj Kumar Singh, has issued instructions for people to hoist the National Flag on the terrace of their house from Sunday and keep it hoisted until the Independence Day celebrations end on Tuesday.
Moreover, the 'Meri Maati, Mera Desh' campaign was launched on August 9 in Narmadapuram, with all MLAs- Dr Sitasaran Sharma, Vijaypaal Singh, Prem Shankar Verma and Thakur Das Nagwanshi- appealing to the people to hoist the tricolor on their houses.
On Sunday, a bike rally was conducted in the town as well, with Chairman of Narmadapuram municipality, Neetu Yadav, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Aashish Pandey, Chief Municipal Officer Navneet Pandey and other dignitaries present. The rally was a symbol of patriotism and a reminder to the residents of Narmadapuram to proudly display the tricolor on their terrace.
The Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyaan is a noble endeavour and an important part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. We hope that the residents of Narmadapuram take pride in hoisting the National Flag and follow the instructions given by the Collector to make the campaign a success.
