Meanwhile, Lauren's ex and Louie's father Peter Beale witnesses their interaction. But when he tries to prove that he's there for Lauren and Louie, he ends up offending her instead. This happens just as Lauren is about to start a trial shift at the car lot, adding to her already stressed state.
