Teenage driver Amelia Miller died from her injuries following the car crash. A family has paid tribute to one of two teenagers who were killed in a two-car collision. Suffolk Constabulary was called by the East of England Ambulance Service at 10.15am on Sunday after reports of the crash on Debenham Road in Little Stonham.

Police said two teenagers travelling in a Peugeot died in the collision, while the occupants of a Volkswagen suffered minor injuries. The driver of the Peugeot, later named as Amelia Miller, 19, from Stowmarket, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, where she later died. On Thursday, her family described her as “full of life and energy” and “such a special person” as they paid tribute to her.

“Amelia was a daughter, sister, aunty and cousin. She was a keen dancer before becoming a photographer. She loved heavy metal and rock music, as well as the occasional farming song,” they said.

“She loved the freedom of having a car, but her passion was motorcycles, and she used to go out on her 125 looking for photo opportunities, which would usually involve bikes or animals, often goats. “Amelia left an impression on everyone she met. She struggled with the school environment but left with fantastic grades.

She really blossomed around adults in the workplace environment with her sharp mind and wit.” Ms Miller’s male passenger died at the scene and has not been publicly identified. Anyone with information is asked to contact the joint Norfolk and Suffolk serious collision investigation unit, quoting 37/61603/26.
