Top 10 most anticipated video games releasing in November 2026

There’s more than just GTA 6 arriving in November Even with GTA 6 poised to dominate the month, there are still plenty of other video games worth keeping an eye on, including a new Nintendo remake and a few nostalgic remasters. We almost didn’t bother putting together a November release roundup at all, since GTA 6 looms so large over the entire month and well beyond it. That’s partly why, after September and October were packed with major releases like Wolverine, Gears of War: E-Day, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, November’s lineup looks almost completely quiet.

Still, the rest of the industry isn’t grinding to a halt just because of one game. In fact, at least 58 much smaller titles are landing on the same day as GTA 6, simply because they’re aimed at completely different audiences. And it’s not just indie developers, either.

Some major publishers are using November’s relative calm to release mid-sized games that would likely have been overshadowed in September or October. So if you’re looking for something to play in November, whether alongside or instead of you-know-what, we’ve rounded up the most notable and interesting games coming to consoles and PC. Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC One of two unusual but very welcome Atari revivals this November, this remaster of the 2002 Godzilla fighting game is arguably the best game ever made based on the King of the Monsters. It plays not unlike the classic Power Stone series, and the remaster is being handled by original developer Pipeworks Studios.

Fully rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5, the game includes a reworked unlock system that lets you choose which characters and bonuses you earn, along with online multiplayer, which the original never had. This also marks the first time PlayStation owners will be able to play it, since the original was only released on Nintendo GameCube and Xbox. There’s also a free demo available before launch, with the release date timed to land on Godzilla Day.

Release date: November 3 World of Warcraft: Forever PC Don’t confuse this with another expansion. World of Warcraft: Forever is a completely new version of Blizzard’s long-running MMO, and it’s set to run alongside both the current and Classic editions. Like World of Warcraft: Classic, this version leans heavily into nostalgia, taking place during the original game’s first year.

But the story branches into an alternate timeline, giving Blizzard room to expand Azeroth in entirely new directions. Blizzard has already promised three new zones to explore, as well as a new playable race: the Skyborn Elves. If you’re interested, all you need is a standard World of Warcraft subscription, which includes access to all three versions of the game.

Release date: November 4 The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Nintendo Switch 2 While Sony and Microsoft seem reluctant to launch any major exclusives in November, Nintendo is rarely fazed, and is releasing what is easily its biggest Switch 2 game of the year just two weeks before GTA 6. The original Ocarina of Time remains one of the most influential and beloved games ever made, and based on our own preview, this remake looks set to be extremely faithful. How it will compare with today’s more open-ended games remains to be seen, but while Nintendo has said it won’t be returning to the classic Zelda formula for new entries, this remake offers the perfect way to revisit that style of gameplay.

Release date: November 5 DreamWorks Shrek 2 Remastered PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC We honestly couldn’t tell you why this is happening, especially since there isn’t even a new Shrek movie around to support it. But judging by the reaction to the announcement trailer’s GTA 6 parody, there seems to be real excitement for a Shrek 2 remaster. The original was surprisingly good for a licensed movie tie-in that was almost certainly rushed out alongside the film.

It’s an action beat ‘em up you can play solo or with up to four players. Local co-op is still included, but online play has also been added, and you can even mix and match modes. Original publisher Activision doesn’t appear to be involved this time, with Aspyr handling the remaster instead.

The studio is best known for its many retro Star Wars remasters. Release date: November 10 Warhammer Survivors PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC Vampire Survivors was so successful that copycats were inevitable, but Warhammer Survivors stands out because it’s an officially approved one. Development and publishing are being handled by Auroch Digital, while Vampire Survivors developer poncle is listed as a partner and has reportedly provided Auroch Digital with the Vampire Survivors engine.

What makes it even more interesting is that Warhammer Survivors will include characters from both Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40,000, something we don’t believe has ever been done before in another Warhammer game. There’s more to November than just GTA 6 Even with GTA 6 poised to dominate November, there are still plenty of other video games worth keeping an eye on, including a new Nintendo remake and a few nostalgic remasters. We almost didn’t bother putting together a list of November’s most interesting games, since GTA 6 casts such a massive shadow over the entire month and well beyond it.

That’s partly because September and October were packed with major releases like Wolverine, Gears Of War: E-Day, and Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, leaving November’s schedule looking almost completely bare. In fact, at least 58 much smaller titles are launching on the same day as GTA 6, simply because they’re aimed at very different audiences.

And it isn’t just indie games either. Some major publishers are using November’s quiet calendar to release mid-sized games that would likely have been squeezed out in September or October.
