Chhatarpur: In a shocking incident, a body of a 23-year-old man was found on a railway track near the Civil Lines Police Station on Tuesday. The police rushed to the spot and sent the body for post mortem.
The deceased was identified as Krishna Soni, who was living at Marghat Pahari near Satai Road. According to reports, the body had been divided into parts, suggesting the possibility of an accident.
Krishna's family members, however, suspected foul play. His uncle, Ramu Soni, said that his nephew had given him some information before his death.
Meanwhile in another incident, three persons attacked a civil engineer and his mother in Deri village under the Orchha Road Police Station in Chattarpur city. The culprits beat up the mother-son duo with sticks, rods and axes. Satyadev Singh Sengar, the injured engineer, said that he did not know the reason behind the attack.
