What time is the Arctic Monkeys' Glastonbury performance and how to watch it on TV?
The Arctic Monkeys have been given a second chance at performing after their Dublin gig was cancelled earlier this week due to Alex Turner's laryngitis. Thankfully, the frontman has recovered and the band is set to take to the stage at Glastonbury in 2023. Alex's girlfriend Louise Verneuil fuelled fan's hopes with an Instagram story that said "Go Glasto."

Organiser Emily Eavis had back-up plans in case Turner's health deteriorated, but now it looks like the show will go on. Arctic Monkeys will be playing on the Pyramid Stage today at 10.15pm. They have already headlined the festival back in 2007 and 2013, and this time around they will be playing their classics such as "Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High", "Fluorescent Adolescent", "I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor" and "Do I Wanna Know".

If you weren't lucky enough to get tickets for Glastonbury this year, you can watch all the action on BBC1 with a 15 minute delay. Coverage starts at 10.30pm on Friday, June 23 with Jo Whiley on BBC2 from 9pm. It will also be available on BBC iPlayer until midnight.

The Sheffield rockers have yet to comment on their upcoming performance but they did issue an apology for cancelling the Dublin gig due to Alex's illness. They said, ‘We are extremely sorry to announce the cancellation of Arctic Monkeys' show at Marlay Park in Dublin tomorrow. Alex is suffering from acute laryngitis and following medical advice, has been ordered to rest. Alex and the band apologise for the huge disappointment this will inevitably cause to all their Irish fans.’

Arctic Monkeys are not the only act set to appear at Glastonbury this year. On Friday, you can enjoy performances by Royal Blood, Texas, Kelis, The Damned and Billy Bragg. Saturday sees Guns N’ Roses, Lana Del Ray, Manic Street Preachers, Lizzo, Lewis Capaldi, Fatboy Slim and Christine and the Queens. Sunday's headliner on the Pyramid Stage is Elton John, while Queens of the Stone Age will be headlining the Other Stage and Rudimental will be on West Holts.

We don't know what to expect from the Arctic Monkeys, but we can be sure it will be an unforgettable performance. So get ready to rock out with the Arctic Monkeys at Glastonbury 2023.
