It’s strange that they never released any of this as DLC or anything but I guess maybe they were embarrassed about it. It’s not like they hadn’t done it before, with the original Resident Evil 3 having cut content that was released as the Mercenaries mode. Although I don’t know how much of RE7’s DLC was cut content and how much was just them making extra bits up.
Talking of FromSoftware, I’m sure I’ve read that they’re working on a new game that’s kind of pirate themed. I’ve no idea how that’s going to work but I’m always interested in what they’re doing next. I know a lot of people want them to make another Bloodborne or something but I’d be happy with anything, especially if it wasn’t just a Dark Souls clone like Sekiro.
Can you believe it? Splatoon is celebrating its 11th anniversary this month! It's amazing how time flies in the gaming world.
Speaking of exciting game news, the recent rumors about FromSoftware working on a pirate game have many gamers on the edge of their seats. And with the anticipation building for the highly-anticipated GTA 6 Trailer 3 reveal, it's a thrilling time to be a gamer! In case you're new here, Games Inbox is where we feature feedback from our amazing readers.

While he didn't directly mention the lack of games, it's clear that it's something they're aware of. Of course, we can't blame Nintendo, Sony, or Microsoft for the memory crisis and resulting price hikes. But it does raise questions about the lack of news for the Switch 2 this year.
Is it a strategic move or simply a delay? Only time will tell. Personally, I'm hoping for a major new franchise like Splatoon or ARMS.
Speaking of reviews, it was disappointing to see the score for Directive 8020. I was really looking forward to it, especially since Supermassive's interactive movies are usually a hit with me. But it seems like the score on Metacritic is in line with other reliable sources.
Although, I can't help but be surprised by some of the other scores on there. It's always interesting to see such a wide range of opinions. On a personal note, I'm one of those people who is currently saving up for a PlayStation 6.
With a new baby and plans to move, I figured it was time to start putting money aside. And while I had also considered investing in a gaming PC, it seems like an even more unrealistic goal now. But let's talk about something more exciting - the possibility of a pirate-themed game from FromSoftware!
I can't even begin to imagine how amazing that would be. And with inspiration from the Pirates of the Caribbean series, it could be a truly unique experience. I know I'm not the only one hoping for some Inbox magic to make this a reality!

Until next time! It’s all very well people saying that they must be working on Resident Evil 8 now but I don’t think that’s the case. The thing about Resident Evil 7 was that it was a big change of direction and I don’t think they’re going to go back to the old style.
And by old style I mean the action-oriented ones, not the fixed camera, puzzle ones. I think they’ll go for something that’ll be a bit like Resident Evil 4 but not quite the same and first person again. That’s what I’d do anyway.
Splatoon, the beloved shooter game, is celebrating its 11th anniversary this month. Can you believe it's been that long? It feels like just yesterday we were splatting our friends with colored ink.
Speaking of rumors, there's been talk of a new pirate game from FromSoftware, the creators of Dark Souls. As a fan, I can't help but hope it's true. And let's not forget the highly anticipated GTA 6 Trailer 3 reveal that one reader predicts will happen today.
But enough about that, let's dive into our readers' thoughts and opinions in this week's Games Inbox. It's always a joy to read your comments and join in on the discussions. If you want to share your own thoughts, don't hesitate to email us at email.
We'd love to hear from you. Nintendo's big boss recently made some interesting comments about the price hike and lack of games. While he didn't directly admit to the latter, it's pretty obvious what he meant.
Now, let's be fair, it's not entirely Nintendo's fault. The whole world is currently facing a memory crisis, which has led to an increase in prices. But what about the lack of news for the Switch 2 this year?
Is it intentional or just a mistake? It's hard to say for sure, but my guess is that they planned on revealing something earlier but couldn't for some reason. Who knows what goes on in the minds of Nintendo's people?
On a more positive note, it seems like things will pick up in June, according to the boss. As a fan, I'd love to see a remake of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time, but what I really want is a brand new franchise. Sure, we have Pokopia and the new Yoshi game, but I'm talking about completely new characters and gameplay, like we saw with Splatoon and ARMS.
Speaking of new games, I was disappointed to see the review for Directive 8020. I was really looking forward to it, being a fan of Supermassive's interactive movies. However, looking at the scores on Metacritic, it seems like our review is in line with the more reliable sites.
But what really baffles me is the other scores. There are a couple of sites that always give ridiculously high scores to every game, regardless of its quality. Who reads these reviews?
I mean, I know we all have our own opinions, but come on, there has to be a limit. Moving on to our readers' personal lives, it seems like many of us are saving up for the next generation consoles. I, for one, never had to save up for a console before, but now as a father and with plans to move to a new house, it's become a necessity.
And while I was initially considering investing in a PC for gaming, it seems like that's even more unrealistic now. Finally, let's talk about the exciting prospect of a pirate-themed Souls game from FromSoftware. It's something that never crossed my mind, but now that it has, I can't wait for its release.
Imagine a game that combines the grotesque elements of the Pirates of the Caribbean series with the challenging gameplay of Dark Souls. It's a dream come true for many fans, myself included. And on that note, I'll use up my Inbox magic and ask for your support on this one.
