According to Harvey Weinstein's lawyer, the former movie mogul has been admitted to the hospital for a series of medical tests after returning to New York City following the recent appeals court decision that overturned his 2020 rape conviction. Prior to this, Weinstein had been placed at the Mohawk Correctional Facility.

The lawyer also disclosed that he is scheduled to meet with Weinstein on Monday and plans to request the court for a retrial in September during his appearance on Wednesday in Manhattan.
