Two people, a 16-year-old boy and a 40-year-old man, tragically died in a car crash after a Mercedes drove into a body of water.
Yesterday afternoon, tragedy struck along Tetney Lock Road in Lincolnshire, England. A blue Mercedes 300, carrying a 16-year-old boy and a 40-year-old man, left the road and became submerged in a nearby body of water.

Unfortunately, the two occupants of the car were pronounced dead at the scene. Their next of kin have been informed.

In response to the incident, Lincolnshire Police are searching for any dashcam footage of the vehicle during its drive before the crash. They are asking people to check for footage from the Laceby crossroads at Laceby, Grimsby, and the surrounding roads leading to Tetney Lock Road between 12:30pm and 1.33pm yesterday.

The force has added that at this stage, it is not believed any other vehicles were involved. However, it is keeping an open mind as the investigation progresses.

As a result of the crash, diversions were put in place at Tetney Lock Road junction with Hoop End and the Tetney Lock Road junction with New Delights until 3pm yesterday.
