In Khaira village of Rewa, the thieves looted two houses and made off with valuable goods worth Rs 2 lakhs. The police are currently examining CCTV footage of the area in an effort to find the perpetrators.

In another incident, one person was arrested on charges of poaching in Narmadapuram. The Deputy Director of Satpura Tiger Reserve, Sandeep Fellows, informed the media that the forest department had received information regarding hunters in the area. On Friday, they formed teams and began searching for the accused during the night. During this, Ramkishore Kajve was apprehended with a porcupine weighing 1.5 kilograms in his possession. His three accomplices took advantage of the darkness and managed to flee. Kajve was further questioned by the forest department and later taken to court, which sent him to jail.
