BRICS leaders address India's concerns about terrorism in their summit declaration, according to Khandelwa.

In a statement released on Sunday, BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal expressed his satisfaction with the outcome of the 18th BRICS Summit. He praised the New Delhi Declaration 2026 for addressing all the important issues that India had raised, including terrorism and terror financing. Khandelwal also emphasized the strong message sent by the BRICS grouping in condemning the Pahalgam terror attack.

Shiv Sena MLC Manisha Kayande also commended the BRICS countries for taking a united stand against terrorism. The deadly Pahalgam terror attack, which occurred on April 22, 2025, was carried out by Pakistan-backed terrorists who targeted tourists based on their religion.
