Police are searching for the person who set a man on fire in west London, just before 8pm in Brownlow Road, which is less than a 10-minute walk from West Ealing station.

The victim suffered minor burns and was not seriously injured.

Anyone with any information regarding the incident should contact police on 1010 quoting reference 6422/27FEB, or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if they wish to remain anonymous.

In a separate incident in December, a homeless man's tent was set on fire, destroying all of his belongings.
