Georgia Taylor, best known for her role as Toyah Battersby in Coronation Street, has taken a break from her busy Corrie schedule to enjoy a romantic getaway with co-star Charlie de Melo who portrayed Imran Habeeb.
The couple have been sharing pictures from their holiday in Northern Ireland, with Georgia captioning the post ‘Delicious Northern Irish spam incoming xx’. The images included them having a pint of Guinness, exploring the Titanic Belfast visitor experience and taking in the beautiful sights of Northern Ireland.
Georgia and Charlie had sparked romance rumours back in February when it was reported that Georgia had split from her partner Mark Letheren after 14 years. The couple have been travelling a lot since then, visiting Sorrento, Scotland and the capital for a Blur gig.
In Coronation Street, Charlie’s character, Imran, died after being involved in a car accident with Toyah, which came after she had discovered his one-night stand with Abi, who was pregnant with his baby at the time. Meanwhile, Toyah recently said goodbye to her old lover Spider Nugent following his return. It became apparent that Spider’s job as an undercover police officer was a lot more important to him, so he chose to leave Weatherfield ahead of his next mission.
