Susanna Reid, host of Good Morning Britain, has hit back at trolls who have been criticising her presenting skills. Not having it, Susanna responded: "We run a three hour show packed with serious and lighter news items, interviews and debates to appeal to a wide range of viewers. Barbie may not be the item that appeals to you, but it will to others." She added: "This year I was nominated for a BAFTA, RTS & TRIC award so it seems I'm getting better as a presenter."
When further comments questioned whether Susanna had won any awards, she replied: "I'm lucky enough to have won the TRIC twice." One fan urged her to ignore the trolls, saying: "Never read the comments @susannareid100 remember don't even read this." To that, Susanna responded: "I enjoy the comments."

At one point during the debate, Mallaghan asked Susanna: "What happened with what, darling?"
After the briefest of pauses, and with a little laugh, Susanna hit back with: "Sorry, you don't need to call me darling." The response was met with praise from viewers, with one tweeting: "You don't need to call me darling! Well said Susanna that made me giggle," and another adding: "“Sorry, don't call me 'Darling”.
