Selling Sunset will be improved by Christine Quinn's return.

A beloved star from the hit Netflix series, Selling Sunset, is making her return after a few seasons of absence. As a loyal viewer of the show for the past seven years, I have watched all 90 episodes and have been eagerly awaiting the comeback of this pivotal person. While some may not think twice about spending countless hours binge-watching their favorite series, I have calculated that I have dedicated around 45 hours of my life to this real estate reality show.

However, in recent years, the absence of Christine Quinn, the self-proclaimed villain, has left a void in the show's dynamic. For those who may not be familiar with the show, Selling Sunset follows the lives of the owners and agents of the Oppenheim Group, a high-end real estate brokerage firm in Los Angeles. Along with showcasing extravagant homes, the series also delves into the personal lives of the agents.

Throughout the nine seasons, the show has seen many agents come and go, often leaving after explosive arguments with their colleagues and frenemies. However, Christine's departure in 2022 was particularly sensational, as she was accused of bribing a client of her fellow agent, Emma Hernan. Despite the ongoing drama between the group, the show has been lacking the firecracker personality that Christine brought to the table.

So, it was with great excitement that I learned of her return alongside fellow original cast member, Heather Rae El Moussa. In a recent announcement, Christine shared that she had reconnected with the show's creator and would be returning "from a very different place, with more perspective, confidence, and clarity." She also mentioned that becoming a mother has made her more intentional and protective of her peace. However, she reassured fans that she is still ambitious and direct and ready to take on any drama that may come her way.

With Christine's no-holds-barred approach to addressing conflict, it will be a welcomed return to the show, especially in light of the ongoing personal attacks among some of the other agents. Instead of constantly rehashing drama and never resolving it, Christine's return may bring a refreshing change to the show and allow viewers to once again indulge in the best part of Selling Sunset – the enviable property porn. As a die-hard fan of the show, I have noticed my interest start to wane in recent seasons.

The constant yelling matches and women ganging up on each other have become exhausting to watch. But with Christine back in the mix, I am excited to see her shake things up and speak her mind, hopefully leading to some resolution and a renewed focus on the luxurious properties featured on the show. So, if you are like me and have been missing Christine's witty one-liners and bold personality on Selling Sunset, get ready to mark your calendars for the upcoming 10th season.

And for those who have not yet indulged in this guilty pleasure, now is the perfect time to catch up on all the drama and luxury real estate that the show has to offer.
