Rick Ross makes a major move in Miami Gardens real estate development.

According to a report from Complex, Rick Ross is taking his business endeavors back to his roots by partnering with a major real estate development in Miami Gardens. The acclaimed rapper and entrepreneur has recently joined forces with EnSima Technologies and EnSima Holdings, as announced by EnSima on July 28th. EnSima Holdings is the driving force behind the EnSima Miami I project, a multi-use development set to be located near the popular Hard Rock Stadium.

This eight-story project is expected to feature 670 residential units and a whopping 165,000 square feet of retail space. Ross will be joining forces with EnSima Founders Shalom Arik Maimon, Lior Suchard, David Shapiro, and Ali Yesil to bring this exciting project to fruition. The design of the development will be overseen by Italian design firm Pininfarina, renowned for their work with luxury car brand Ferrari.

Construction is set to be handled by TerraForm Development, though the financial details of Ross' partnership have not yet been disclosed. This particular venture has a special significance for Ross, who grew up in the Carol City neighborhood of Miami Gardens. As he celebrates the 20th anniversary of his debut album "Port of Miami," it seems fitting that he would choose to invest in a project in his hometown.

According to Complex, prices for the residences are expected to start at approximately $593 per square foot. One-bedroom units, measuring around 650 square feet, will begin at $450,000, while two-bedroom units of approximately 900 square feet will start at $580,000. While a construction start date has not yet been announced, a sales office is expected to open in September.

This latest project adds to the already impressive business portfolio that Ross has built outside of his successful music career. In 2009, he founded Maybach Music Group and has also operated several Wingstop franchises through his company Boss Wings Enterprises. He has also ventured into the world of spirits, partnering with Sovereign Brands, as well as creating the popular automotive detailing brand Slippery Soap, which is sold at AutoZone stores.

Real estate seems to be a particular focus for Ross, as he also owns a lavish mansion on Star Island in Miami Beach which he acquired in 2023. It's clear that he is dedicated to investing in his community and contributing to its growth and development. In fact, in a recent Juneteenth celebration, Ross was honored by having a street in his hometown named after him.

Overall, it's exciting to see Rick Ross expanding his business ventures and making a positive impact in his hometown. With his past successes and his continued drive to succeed, there's no telling what other impressive projects he has in store for the future.
