Bryson Tiller, the talented R&B artist, released his highly anticipated self-titled album on April 5th. Fans were ecstatic to finally get their hands on the album, but it seems like this may be the last one for a while. Why? Well, Bryson has decided to shift his focus towards a new career in the video game industry.

In an interview with Billboard, Bryson explained that his goal with this album was to showcase his versatility and capabilities as an artist. He wanted to make sure that his loyal fans got to hear everything he has to offer. However, this album is not a farewell, but rather a "see you later" for the Kentucky native. Bryson plans on taking a break from music to release his very own video game, which he has been working on for the past three years.

"I would love for this one to be the last one for a while," he shared with Complex last month. "I've been saying that regardless of how well it performs. This is probably going to be my last one for a minute. I just want to take a hiatus because my number one passion is video games."

In his spare time, Bryson has been designing a game for the past three years. He even mentioned looking into internships with different companies in the gaming industry. It's clear that this is where his heart truly lies. With the launch of his own company, Trapsoul Games, in 2023, Bryson hopes to put all his energy into developing his business and spending more time with his two daughters.

"I want to focus on getting closer to my daughters," he explained. "My oldest daughter is 10 years old now, and I'm tired of telling her that I have to work, or I have to be in the studio, before we can hang out. I'm just getting tired of telling her that. Game design is super cool because I could do it from anywhere. I could be next to her while she's gaming, working on my game. It's just what I love to do. It doesn't feel like work."

As for when we can expect to see his debut video game, Bryson hopes to release it later this year or alongside the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6. He admits to being a huge fan of the game and plays it every day, so releasing his game at the same time would be a dream come true.

"I would love for it to drop this year. If not, it would be dropping the same year as GTA 6, which I'm not mad at, because I love GTA," Bryson shared.

In the meantime, Bryson has been keeping busy with other projects, including his latest single "Don't," and has been spotted attending NBA games. However, it seems like some fans have been heckling him over their losing bets on the games. But Bryson doesn't seem too bothered by it, as he is focused on his upcoming game release and spending quality time with his daughters.
