Next week on Coronation Street, viewers are in for a wild ride as Carla Connor faces a terrifying and intimidating situation. In a sneak peek video, we see a sinister villain attempting to intimidate her.
Carla, who is the boss of Underworld, is headed to court for a hit-and-run incident that took place in July. It all started when she encountered a group of teenagers who were harassing her friend Roy Cropper. After giving them a piece of her mind, Carla got back into her car. However, she failed to notice one of the teenagers riding his bike towards her. As she opened her door, the teen was knocked off his bike by her car.
This incident caused quite a stir, especially when it was witnessed by Betsy Swain, who then used it to blackmail Carla. Eventually, the truth was revealed when Betsy let it slip during an argument with her mother, DS Lisa Swain. Lisa was upset about Carla spending too much time with her daughter.
In the upcoming episode, we see Carla and her nephew Ryan Connor come face to face with Tom, the father of the teenager she knocked over, at court. Ryan, who is fiercely protective of his aunt, steps in to defend her. Despite a light sentence of a medium-level community order and victim compensation, Tom's father is still furious. He even tries to physically intimidate Carla, but Ryan is there to protect her.
As they leave the court, Carla can't help but call Tom's father a "total loser" and blames him for his son's behavior. However, this only seems to make things worse as Tom's father gives Carla a menacing look, hinting that she may have made a new enemy. What will he do next? Tune in to find out.
