He urged citizens to support domestic products and strengthen local industries, emphasizing that making "Vocal for Local" a mass movement is the need of the hour. The Prime Minister highlighted the negative impact of increased use of foreign goods on India's foreign exchange reserves.

He specifically mentioned the large amount of national resources spent on gold imports and urged for restraint in non-essential purchases, stating that "Gold is not necessary at this time." He also suggested postponing such expenditure until global conditions stabilize. In addition to gold, Modi also addressed the issue of edible oil consumption, urging moderation due to its impact on both health and imports. He stated that reducing consumption of these items could not only benefit individuals but also the national economy.

The Prime Minister also reiterated his appeal to reduce dependency on petrol and diesel, encouraging citizens to use public transport, electric vehicles, and shared mobility options. He also suggested practical steps like carpooling for households with multiple vehicles. During his speech, Modi also touched upon the topic of overseas travel and destination weddings.

He expressed his concern over the significant foreign exchange outflow caused by these practices and urged people to consider India for weddings and holidays. He mentioned the culturally significant and scenic locations within the country and encouraged domestic tourism. The Prime Minister also took the opportunity to promote the Statue of Unity, stating that India offers world-class destinations within the country.

He even joked, "There can be no better place than India for weddings. I would urge all of you to get married at the Statue of Unity. Sardar Patel will also bless you." He emphasized the importance of celebrating major life events domestically.

Lastly, Modi urged farmers to adopt natural farming practices and reduce the use of chemical fertilizers. He stressed the importance of soil protection and sustainability for the long-term health of agriculture in India.
