Put your all into it!

Pitbull's concert at BST Hyde Park will be the highlight of the summer, especially with his bald cap stunt.

Calling all Pitbull fans! Are you ready to be a part of history? This is your chance to break a Guinness World Record at one of his upcoming shows. The request is simple – show up to Pitbull's BST Hyde Park concert wearing a bald cap. That's right, tens of thousands of people are being asked to join in on this epic attempt. For years, fans of the rapper, whose real name is Armando Christian Pérez, have been attending his concerts dressed just like him. This includes rocking a bald cap to match his signature hairless style, aviator sunglasses, and a white shirt with a leather jacket. Some fans go all out and even grow a goatee or draw one on. It's amazing to see the dedication and commitment from his supporters. The trend of dressing up as Pitbull at his concerts has become so popular, but it's unclear where it all began. The singer himself has expressed his delight in seeing his fans mimic his style. And now, he's encouraging those with tickets to his upcoming BST concert to come dressed in his likeness. In fact, it was just announced that an official Guinness World Record attempt will be made for the largest gathering of people wearing bald caps at his headlining show on Friday, July 10th. This idea of breaking a world record was first suggested by Radio 1 Breakfast host Greg James on air. As a longtime fan of Pitbull, James had been calling for this attempt since the show was announced back in October. And to everyone's excitement, Pitbull himself reached out to confirm his participation. "Guinness Book of World Records, get ready for all the Bald-E's that'll be putting it down on July 10th at Hyde Park," he declared. "Every time you put on that bald cap, you know you're about to have the time of your lives. We appreciate the love, the commitment, and the support. More than anything, we just want to say thank you. Dale!" But before you go all out on your Pitbull costume, there are some important rules for the official record attempt. All participants must wear a bald cap securely on their head with their hair tucked under at the front and top. And everyone must be together at the same time for a minimum of one minute. AEG Presents European Festivals director of talent Darcey Jackson is thrilled to host this record-breaking attempt at Pitbull's show in BST Hyde Park. "We've broken a few world records in the past, but this will truly be the time of our lives," she said. "We cannot wait to welcome you all to Hyde Park for what will inevitably be an incredible show. Come one, come all, come bald." Guinness World Records adjudicator Will Munford is also looking forward to witnessing this attempt. "What better way to be a part of something amazing than coming together with other fans to celebrate your favorite artist?" he said. "Best of luck to all of those taking part on the day!" BST Hyde Park has a standard capacity of 65,000, and Pitbull's headline show will also feature special guest Kesha, with more support acts to be announced. This year's festival will also include headliners such as Garth Brooks, Lewis Capaldi, Maroon 5, and Mumford & Sons. Last year, Pitbull performed three nights at the O2 in London. In an interview with the BBC at the time, he expressed his happiness in seeing fans dressed like him in the crowd. "Every time I'm at a show, I let them know that when you put on a bald cap, I hope you're ready to have the time of your lives – it feels deeper than just music," he said. "It's the ultimate trophy to be able to go on stage and see all the hard work that you put into the music. I've been in the game for 25 years, and to see every demographic, everybody [dressing up] at the shows is priceless." Throughout his career, Pitbull has sold over 25 million studio albums and over 100 million singles worldwide. Also known as Mr. 305, he rose to fame in the noughties with collaborations with some of the biggest names in music including Ne-Yo, Kesha, Christina Aguilera, Usher, Enrique Iglesias, and Jennifer Lopez. Some of his most popular hits include "Timber," "Give Me Everything," "Hotel Room Service," and "On the Floor." Don't miss your chance to be a part of history and potentially break a world record at Pitbull's upcoming BST Hyde Park concert.
