Phillip Schofield's daughters jokingly criticize Holly Willoughby.
Phillip Schofield’s daughters have seemingly shown their support for their father by distancing themselves from his former This Morning co-star Holly Willoughby. The pair had worked together for several years on the ITV show.

Earlier in 2021, Schofield had shocked fans by quitting the show and admitting to having lied about an affair with a younger runner on the show. This led to the breakdown of their friendship.

The news was further compounded by the fact that, unlike Willoughby, Schofield no longer follows her on Instagram. Now, it appears that the same is true for both of Schofield’s daughters, Ruby and Molly.

A source told MailOnline: ‘Both Molly and Ruby have seen their father go through hell, they have been at his side as he has lost everything. Meanwhile, by following Holly on Instagram they see her carrying on with her life. The whole scandal has taken its toll on them, their support for him as been unwavering and this is the final nail. They are staunchly loyal to their dad, despite everything that has gone on.’

Willoughby, however, still follows Schofield and both of his daughters. She recently left her talent agency YMU Entertainment – where Molly currently works – to launch her own firm, Roxy Management, with an all-female team.

In May, it was announced that Schofield had been dropped by YMU Entertainment. Mary Bekhait, the Group CEO of YMU Group, said in a statement: ‘Honesty and integrity are core values for YMU’s whole business, defining everything we do. Talent management is a relationship based entirely on trust.’

Willoughby attended the National Television Awards a few days ago, where she spoke on the red carpet about how 2021 had been difficult for everyone, in what appeared to be a swipe at Schofield. She said: ‘It has been a difficult year for everybody but what’s lovely is you find that people rally around you and the goodwill is there. People want things to move on. It feels different.’
