Spellos, who was 69 years of age, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and passed away peacefully in the early hours of Sunday morning at Franciscan Hospice House in Indianapolis, according to his friend Jennifer Smith, who had power of attorney for Spellos. Speaking to TMZ, Smith said that Spellos had received care at the facility as his health began to decline.

"He was loved and cared for and surrounded by people during his final days," said Smith.
