Dr DK Gupta, professor and head of the physics department at Government Girls’ Post-Graduate College, has been awarded the National Outstanding Educator Award by the International Institute of Organised Research. This institute is registered with the Ministry of MSME and has awarded Dr Gupta for his second year of continuous educational activities.

It was last year that he was given the National Academic Excellence Award, and this year, his edited book entitled ‘Impact of ICT on Teaching, Learning, Evaluation and Research in Higher Education’ has been published. Dr Gupta has also created nearly 100 YouTube videos on topics ranging from physics theory to practicals, yoga, health, and poems. These videos are being viewed not just in India, but in other countries as well.

He has organized many educational seminars and workshops and was awarded the third prize in the 2022 National Essay Competition on Physics of Climate Change, organized by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers. Additionally, Dr Gupta has compiled four lab manuals and developed innovative experiments such as Theorem of Perpendicular Axes, Theorem of Parallel Axes, Retrograde Vernier, Quadruple Magnetic Field, and many more.

Dr Gupta’s dedication to the field of education is commendable, and his efforts have been recognized by the International Institute of Organised Research. He is sure to continue to make significant contributions to the educational field in the future.
