From Monday, the Covid booster jab will be rolled out across the UK, with five million people eligible for the dose up until the end of June. Care home residents are the first group able to receive the vaccine, with invitations to book appointments being sent out via the NHS app and texts and letters to those without the app. NHS Director of Vaccinations and Screening, Steve Russell, stated: ‘It is still really important that those at greatest risk come forward and boost their protection in the coming weeks.’
