On Monday July 15th, after Roy wakes up in the hospital, Nina updates Carla on his condition. Dee-Dee joins them and the three discuss Roy's claim that Lauren had visited him. Dee-Dee dismisses it as a hallucination, but Nina has her doubts and suggests they mention it to someone just in case. Their suspicions are confirmed when a nurse reveals that a young woman matching Lauren's description had indeed visited Roy the night before. This shocking revelation leaves Dee-Dee and Nina reeling as they come to terms with the fact that Lauren is alive.
On Wednesday July 17th, Joel is approached by Betsy, who asks for more money during a secret meeting in his car. But Joel's phone rings and it's Dee-Dee, who tells him she believes she has found Lauren. To make matters worse, Dee-Dee knows that Lauren is pregnant. Joel insists that she wait for him to arrive, but Dee-Dee is determined to find Lauren immediately. In a fit of rage, Joel orders Betsy out of the car, leaving her stunned.
And on Friday July 19th, Rowan pays Nick a visit at the bistro and tries to manipulate him into giving Leanne what she wants. When Nick hesitates, Rowan suggests he use this as a way to ease his guilty conscience. But if Nick doesn't comply, Rowan will expose his secret affair with Toyah.
