She says, "Words are said and Sam says things like, 'I'll never forgive you for this.' But eventually it'll be water under the bridge." Karen adds, "Sam's only thinking short term, what's best in his mind for his son to not end up in jail. Many years ago, Sam did the same thing and ran away from taking responsibility for his actions, so he sees it as the way to do things. Essentially, he realizes that Lydia's got this covered and she's got Samson to do the right thing. I think they will be fine over time."
