A woman died after falling from a parking structure belonging to Disneyland in Orange County, California.

Police officers responded to the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure around 6.50pm on Saturday after receiving reports that someone had ‘jumped or fallen’ from it, according to CNN.



The arriving officers found an adult woman on the ground and provided medical aid until emergency personnel got to the scene. She was transported to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.



She has been identified as Marney Schoenfeld, 46, of Scottsdale, Arizona, an Orange County Coroner’s Office spokesman told People.



It was not immediately known if the victim was a guest at Disneyland.



It was not immediately clear if Schoenfeld was a guest at the theme park in Anaheim.



Schoenfeld’s husband said her death was ‘excruciating’.



‘She was a loving mother to her daughter, Sydney,’ Randy Schoenfeld told the San Jose Mercury News. ‘She was a caring wife to me. She was a talented hairstylist of 23 years and her clients loved her.’



An investigation into Schoenfeld’s death is ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact the Anaheim Police Department.
