Nicky Campbell's daughter was injured in an e-bike hit-and-run, and faced a difficult time in the hospital.

Nicky Campbell, the renowned BBC radio star, shared some troubling news on his Instagram account on Saturday morning. His daughter Lilla, who is 26 years old, was involved in a serious incident in London. She was hit by an e-bike while out with her sisters in Peckham and had to be rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Campbell expressed his distress in the post, stating that it had been a long and emotional night. He shared that the incident occurred late at night and that he was hopeful that there would be CCTV footage to help identify the person responsible for the hit and run. He also revealed that the man responsible had fled the scene once he saw the ambulance arriving.

Thankfully, Lilla is now back home after receiving medical attention. However, Campbell noted that her injuries were severe and that it could have been much worse. He expressed his gratitude for their luck and for the incredible work of the medical professionals who treated his daughter.

However, the ordeal was not over for Lilla and her sisters. Upon arriving at King's College Hospital A&E, they were exposed to yet another traumatic experience. According to Campbell's post, a drunk individual entered the trauma room where they were being treated and exposed himself to them.

The situation was quickly escalated by the police, who were on hand and arrested the man. Campbell praised the police for their swift action and described them as "magnificent". He also expressed his appreciation for the staff at King's College Hospital, whom he called "wonderful" and "superb".

The post ended with Campbell thanking everyone for their support and asking for their comments on the situation.
