Minister reviews prep for PM's visit to Madhya Pradesh on Aug 12.
Sagar’s Minister of Cooperative and Public Service Management, Arvind Bhadoria, held a meeting at the district collectorate on Monday to review the preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on August 12. Modi's visit will include the Bhoomipujan ceremony for the temple of Sant Ravidas and a museum at Badtuma in Sagar district.

The minister emphasized the importance of welcoming the Samrasta Yatra for the construction of the temple. He also directed the people’s representatives and the departments concerned to publicise the event. He suggested using social media platforms to spread the word and asked the representatives to inform the authorized people of their areas to ensure their participation.

Moreover, Bhadoria directed the departments to upkeep the roads leading to the site of the public meeting. He also mentioned that the temple of Santi Ravidas will be a centre of spiritualism. Legislators Shailendra Jain, Pradeep Laria and Chairman of District Panchayat, Heera Singh Rajput, Mayor Sangeeta Tiwari, and others were present at the meeting, alongside the Collector Deepak Arya, Superintendent of Police Abhishek Tiwari, Commissioner of Nagar Nigam Chandrashekhar Shukla, and others.

This visit comes shortly after the Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray's announcement that he would write to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to demand the Bharat Ratna for Annabhau Sathe. This is an initiative to honour the social reformer and recognize his contribution to Maharashtra.
