Michelle Obama unexpectedly visits Tattered Cover in Denver.
Surprise visits are always exciting, especially when they involve a former first lady! Michelle Obama recently made a surprise appearance at Tattered Cover, a well-known bookstore in Denver. And what's even better, she left behind some signed copies of her book, "The Light We Carry."

In a post on social media, Obama shared her experience, saying, "While in Denver, I stopped by the Tattered Cover Book Store and signed some copies of #TheLightWeCarry. I've really enjoyed surprising bookstores throughout the year, and this time I brought some members of my team along with me!"

In a video shared by Obama, we see her walking into the Tattered Cover on Colfax Avenue, pulling out a pen from her purse, and signing the books displayed on a table. She also encouraged her followers to let her know if they find a signed copy at the bookstore. "If anybody goes to the Tattered Cover Book Store and finds them, let us know. We want to hear from you if you manage to snag one of the signed copies," she said with a smile.

This is not the first time Obama has visited the Denver bookstore. In 2018, she was there for a signing of her book "Becoming" before speaking at the then-named Pepsi Center, now known as Ball Arena, and visiting Children's Hospital Colorado.

During her surprise visit, Obama also briefly mentioned her upcoming plans. "Hopefully the next time I talk to you, maybe it'll be somewhere in the country at a bookstore near you," she said. "Until then, you guys be good and remember to vote, vote, vote."
