Police are currently on the lookout for a man who has been linked to a series of crimes in northern Melbourne. The suspect is believed to have threatened a massage parlour employee with a knife, prompting authorities to release a CCTV photo in hopes of identifying and apprehending the perpetrator.
According to reports, the man is wanted in connection with three aggravated burglaries and an armed robbery at different massage parlours. The first incident occurred on August 27 at a parlour on Spring Street in Reservoir. The suspect stole mobile phones from the staff area before fleeing the scene.
The following day, the man visited another massage parlour on Tuscan Court in Thomastown. He paid for services using a mobile phone that had been stolen the previous day. However, the suspect returned later that day and stole a purse belonging to one of the workers.
The suspect then struck again on September 17 at the same massage parlour on Tuscan Court. This time, he stole a staff member's purse before leaving. The final incident took place on October 19 at around 2:45 am, where the suspect entered the same parlour and threatened a worker with a knife while demanding cash. Luckily, the staff member was not physically harmed and the suspect fled with the cash.
Witnesses and anyone with information about the suspect's whereabouts are urged to contact Crime Stoppers. It is believed that the man approached a staff member and brandished a knife, making demands for cash. He then left the premises with the stolen money without causing any physical harm to the staff member.
