Police have arrested a suspect after a woman was found with serious injuries at her home in Yorkshire and later died.
Officers on the scene in Ravensthorpe, Dewsbury were called to a property shortly before 6.45pm on Sunday and discovered the woman inside.
In response to the incident, West Yorkshire Police launched a manhunt for the suspect, carrying out ‘significant enquiries’ to find and arrest the individual.
To assist in the manhunt, a number of cordons were put in place, as well as a police helicopter spotted circling overhead. Dozens of armed officers were also seen in the area, and an air ambulance had landed nearby.
The search was successful and the manhunt ended at approximately 5.50am on Monday. The man has not yet been charged and the victim has yet to be named.
