Police have arrested a 25-year-old man for trespassing on a protected site at Buckingham Palace.
The incident occurred at 1.25am today when a person was reported to have climbed a wall and entered the Royal Mews. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the man outside the stables.
The Metropolitan Police released a statement saying that the man had not entered the Palace grounds or the Palace Gardens. He was taken into custody at a London police station and arrested under the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act.
