A chaotic scene unfolded at LaGuardia Airport in New York as an Air Canada Express plane collided with a ground vehicle on Runway 4, prompting officials to immediately halt all operations. The incident occurred during the aircraft's landing, when it reportedly struck a fire truck. According to initial reports and flight-tracking data, the plane was arriving from Montreal.

The Federal Aviation Administration quickly confirmed that the airport was closed and a ground stop order was in effect following the collision.
