Kuno officers in Madhya Pradesh seek a helicopter to help them locate Nirva, a missing tiger.
Bhopal is in the midst of an urgent search for the female Cheetah, Nirva. The Kuno National Park authorities have reached out to the principal chief conservator of forest wildlife, Aseem Shrivastava, for the use of a helicopter in their search.

The officer of Kuno National Park reported that field director Uttam Kumar Sharma has requested the helicopter to locate the missing cheetah, who has been missing for more than 20 days. This is especially concerning as Nirva is believed to be the last wild cheetah in the region.

In order to protect the remaining 14 cheetahs from the free range zone, they were brought to the enclosures. This decision was taken after two of the cheetahs had died due to an infection caused by radio collars.

Kuno National Park is now armed with two high-tech drone cameras with night vision, to help in their search for the missing cheetah, Nirva. Hopefully, with this advanced technology, they will be able to locate her soon.
