Jan Hunkar Rally in Madhya Pradesh demands Bagli's status as a district be recognized.
The demand to make Bagli a separate district has gained a lot of traction ahead of the assembly polls. On the 31st day of the protest, a 'Jan Hunkar Rally' was organized by the Bagli District Banao Abhiyan Committee to press the demand for district status.

The campaign spokesperson Advocate Mukesh Kumar Gurjar shared that Bagli meets all the criteria for district status and its residents have been demanding district status for the last 14 years. Gurjar also appealed to the public to spread the campaign everywhere.

The rally saw support from many public representatives from the BJP and Congress, apart from the Muslim community, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh and district president Hukam Patel. The Karni Sena even threatened to boycott the BJP if Bagli isn't declared a district.

The rally was 2 kilometers long and saw a huge crowd of 2k women from 4 tehsils. They all collectively appealed to CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan to make Bagli an independent district. Police were deployed to ensure that everything was peaceful. The rally was welcomed at various points along the route and the key members submitted copies of all the proposals and the 55th memorandum to SDM Anand Malviya.

The protest will continue until Bagli is declared a district before the implementation of the model code of conduct. Meanwhile, BJP's VD Sharma accused Digvijaya Singh and Kamal Nath of spreading lies and said that “whenever they speak Congress suffers damage”.
