Desperate times call for desperate measures, and Stephen Reid is about to take this to a new level in his final week in Coronation Street. His crimes have been exposed, leaving him feeling helpless and desperate to take matters into his own hands.

Joe Duttine, the man behind Tim, spoke exclusively to The Agency warning of the danger his alter ego is in. He said, “I think he’s in a lot of danger. He’s been hit over the head and who knows what’s going to happen to him? He’s definitely a fish out of water! It’s good to stretch the acting muscles a little bit and have the opportunity to get out and do stuff that’s a challenge and flex your creative muscles a bit. I enjoyed it a lot.”
Sally is desperately trying to get the police to take Tim’s disappearance seriously, meanwhile Stephen’s out of control behaviour becomes more and more worrying as Tim’s bloodied wallet is found.
This situation is getting more and more intense, and Joe Duttine’s stunt double isn’t even safe! When asked about the prospect of his character being written out, Joe said, “Coronation Street’s been absolutely brilliant for me, and it’s been an absolute joy to work on. So, if that’s the way the character has to go, that’s the way he has to go, and I’ll just be grateful for the time I’ve spent here. Obviously, I’d be incredibly sad, but that’s the nature of the show.”
All we can do is wait and see what happens, but Joe promises viewers an exciting week full of suspense, humour, twists and turns. He said, “I thought it was a right old thriller! I think fans can expect a lot of suspense, some humour, a lot of character-based stuff, and a real feeling of an ensemble show with lots of twists and turns and unexpected moments. Characters in situations that they don’t always find themselves in.”
After this week, we may never see Tim again. We'll have to wait and see if Stephen has done the unthinkable, and just how far he will go this time.
