JP Nadda, the Bharatiya Janata Party president, paid a visit to Pune on Tuesday and performed an aarti at the Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati pandal. This was on the heels of his visit to Mumbai, where he had visited popular Ganpati pandals, including Lalbaugcha Raja.
Nadda began his tour of Mumbai by taking a darshan of Keshavji Chawl Ganeshotsav Mandal in Girgaon. As the Ganeshotsav festival nears its end, Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has urged caution and offered helplines for electrical safety during the immersion process. The company has also provided instructions to be followed while performing the immersions.
