Janette Manrara and her husband Aljaz Skorjanec have been blessed with the arrival of their first baby. On Friday, the Strictly professional dancer, 39, welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world.

She said, “For the past couple of years we hadn’t been using protection but nothing was happening, so we thought IVF was the next best thing for us to do.” She added “I know that IVF can be really strenuous on a woman’s body and there is no guarantee it will work, so to know that this little miracle just came from a wonderful night we had together is amazing.”
Throughout her pregnancy, Janette shared a number of adorable ‘bump-dates’ with fans on social media. In one post, she expressed her gratitude for being able to carry her bundle of joy and thanked her followers for their kind messages and support. She also called her baby a ‘little miracle’.
Aljaz also shared touching updates, saying that he cries every day on this amazing journey with his wife. Just before the birth, he shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of their unborn baby during an ultrasound appointment.
Janette also revealed that she was advised to have a C-section as they are expecting a bigger than average size baby. She said, “It looks like we have a bigger than average size baby, but I’m not an average size human and because of the width of my hips it’s advised that I get a C-section.”
