Fundraiser exceeds $50K target for Ashlee Jenae's family as they make funeral plans.

The family of American influencer Ashlee Jenae is grieving after her sudden passing while on vacation in Tanzania to celebrate her 31st birthday and accept a proposal from her fiancé. Her body has been returned to her family in New Jersey after surpassing their $50,000 goal on GoFundMe to cover her funeral expenses. According to reports from TMZ, her father Harry Robinson stated that her remains arrived on April 24, but her personal belongings, including her engagement ring, were not returned with her.

The family is uncertain when or if they will receive these items back, as an investigation is still ongoing. In the midst of their grief, Jenae's parents, Harry Robinson and Yolanda Denise Endres, expressed their gratitude for the outpouring of support through the GoFundMe page. They also shared the difficulties they are facing in navigating an ongoing investigation while trying to bring their daughter home with dignity.

The fundraiser for Jenae, known as Ashly Robinson, has exceeded its initial goal, with donations reaching almost $64,000 as of April 30. This outpouring of support came after widespread media coverage of her tragic death. Jenae and her fiancé, Joseph McCann, had checked into a hotel on April 6, but she was found unconscious two days later and pronounced dead on April 9.

The couple had reportedly been separated into different rooms by staff at Zuri Zanzibar after an argument, though the exact reason for the argument remains unknown. Leading up to her passing, Jenae had been sharing moments from their trip on social media, including her engagement. Officials in Zanzibar have ruled her death as suicide, while McCann was questioned as a witness.

However, Jenae's sister, Alyssa Endres, disputes this claim and describes her sister as happy and excited about her future with McCann. "She was so ready to take the next steps with who she thought was the love of her life," Endres stated. "She was so happy with the choices that she had made and in the places that she was.

She was happy." The family has requested an independent autopsy, and results are still pending. They have had limited communication with McCann and are working to obtain surveillance footage from the hotel to gain further understanding of Jenae's final hours. They are also considering traveling to Tanzania to meet with officials in hopes of finding answers.

In the midst of their grief, the family has also announced their intention to file a lawsuit against those who were present at the time of Shanquella Robinson's death, seeking justice for their loved one.
