Exciting news for the residents of Castle Rock as Bo Nix, the new quarterback for the Broncos, and his wife Izzy have officially made the move into their new home. The couple invested a whopping $4 million in a stunning 6,551-square-foot property located within the exclusive gated community of The Village at Castle Pines.
Their new home was previously owned by former NFL running back Shane Patrick-Henry Vereen, who played for both the New England Patriots and New York Giants. Records show that Vereen purchased the property from Sterling Custom Homes for $600,000 back in 2016. The home was built in 2018 and was recently listed by LIV Sotheby's International Realty for $4.2 million on April 11.
One of the most impressive features of the home is the large dining room that seamlessly flows into a covered outdoor kitchen. To add to the open and airy feel, there is a 15-foot NanaWall of sliding doors in the great room that leads to a covered deck. The property is also situated in a gated community, providing an extra level of security and privacy for the Nixes.
The outdoor space is just as impressive as the interior, with multiple areas for entertaining, including a spacious patio with a gas fireplace. As you make your way inside, the main level boasts a primary suite with a gas fireplace and its own separate deck. The attached en suite bathroom features heated floors and a convenient closet that is connected to the laundry room.
On the upper level, you will find two additional bedrooms, each with their own walk-in closet and en suite bath. There is also a separate loft area, perfect for a home office or relaxation space. As you head down to the lower level, you will be greeted by a wine room, theater room, and another bedroom with an en suite bath. The lower level also features a wet bar that opens up to another outdoor entertaining space with a gas fireplace and an oversized patio.
The Nixes will have plenty of room for their vehicles and belongings with a four-car garage and a golf cart bay. The home was listed by Stacie Chadwick with LIV Sotheby's International Realty, while Rachel Sartin with Corken + Company Real Estate Group represented both the Nixes and Broncos coach Sean Payton during his purchase of a Belcaro mansion for $4.5 million.
It seems that the Broncos organization is making some major moves, not only on the field but in their personal lives as well. The team recently drafted Nix in the first round of this year's NFL draft, following the release of quarterback Russell Wilson. In other news, Wilson and his wife Ciara, a talented singer-songwriter, made headlines when they purchased a $25 million home on Cherry Hills Park Drive in April 2022. This sale set a new record for the highest amount paid for a home in the Denver area. The couple had previously sold their mansion off-market for $21.5 million in March.
